Classic men's chinos from Primodi in a versatile beige, and about as close as casual elegance gets to a uniform. The skinny cut follows the leg while leaving room to move. The fabric is good quality and hard-wearing, so comfort holds up wash after wash. Slanted side pockets keep things practical, and the neatly finished welt pockets at the back close with a small button. Between the beige and the pared-back design, these are easy trousers to style: with a shirt and a blazer, or with a casual jumper or a T-shirt, for a look that outlasts the season it was bought in.
